My parents are a little skittish on the idea on 'M' games, but Im 16 and everyone else plays them. Anyone got any ideas of how I might talk them into letting me play? Im well mannered and all, but I just need a few hints on how to get them past the violence part of the games. AND IM NOT A VIOLENT KID! I just like those games!
Convey to them that you understand violence isn't acceptable and you know it. Say you only want it for ento playtertainment and not for the pleasure of killing and stuff.
In other words, make yourself sound very stable when it comes to violence.
Just wait. We don't need any more ammo for Jack Thompson. If you want them that bad, just download some PC ones and play them.
maybe tell them :
If I get straight A's will you buy m\e an M rated game?
If i win a competition whatever

just exactly what games are you tato playlking about? if its an fps you can say you want to learn about the military guns, or say something like i feel like hitting people and i need a way to release it without actually hitting a real person... or... you can give your friends money and tell them to buy it for you, then swap the game boxes, (put your game into an acceptable game box like racing or something)
